1^st Day - Praia do Forte

Arrival in Salvador. Meeting at the airport. Private transfer to the hotel in Praia do Forte with Portuguese speaking driver, check-in and accommodation. Free night. Overnight. 

2^nd Day - Praia do Forte

After breakfast you will meet an English speaking guide from Praia do Forte. He will inform you the best way to enjoy the city as telling the location of typical food restaurants, handicraft shops, main tourist attractions, and other important information about the region. On this day you can also make the optional tour to the ruins of Garcia D'Avila Castle, the only medieval-style castle located in the American continent, and the Reserva de Sapiranga, an Atlantic Forest reserve where several species of Brazilian fauna and flora are preserved. At the end of the tour you’ll be taken back to your hotel. Duration: 3h. Check availability and prices. Overnight

3^rd Day - Praia do Forte

Breakfast. Free day for resting, shopping or optional tours. On this day you can also make the QuadBike optional tour. After pickup from your hotel the tour starts with a test driving lesson to make you secure on driving the bikes. After that, you’ll take a track passing through the Sapiranga Reserve and Pojuca River, where you’ll stop for resting or Canoeing. On the way back you’ll take the same track to arrive at the starting point. At the end of the tour you’ll be taken back to your hotel. Duration: 1h30-2h00. Check availability and prices. Overnight.

4^th Day - Praia do Forte 

Breakfast. Free day for resting, shopping or optional tours. On this day you can also make the Whale watching optional tour. This activity starts with a presentation about the life and behavior of the Jubarte Whale at Baleia Jubarte Institute. After the presentation, boarding to the tour along the coast and the whale watching begins. This tour is accompanied by an environmentalist guide. Fruit and mineral water are served on board. At the end of the tour you’ll be taken back to your hotel. Duration: 5h. Check availability and prices. Notes: There is an average of more than 90% of seeing whales from the last couple of years and this tour can be made only from July 10^th to October 15^th. Duration: 5h. Praia do Forte

Praia do Forte is located in the state of Bahia, northeastern Brazil. It is famous for the beauty of its crystalline beaches and for being a bucolic locality, ideal for those who want to relax. In addition to the beaches, one of its main attractions is the TAMAR Project, a project that aims at the preservation of sea turtles. There are aquariums and tanks for breeding sea turtles that can be visited by the public. In the center of Praia do Forte you can find several ateliers with handicrafts typical of the region.

The locality developed around the Castle of Garcia D'Avila - also known like House of the Tower - from 1551 and was the largest landholding of the American continent, and later it became a village of fishermen. Praia do Forte still maintains characteristics of the time of the fishing village in the way of living and even in fish-rich food. Its tranquility is a charm amid the paradisiacal nature.
